Scholarship Emily Dobbs   Lori Stafford 

Emily is currently employed with Montgomery County District Clerk’s office.  Emily is attending college with Southern New Hampshire University pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.  She wishes to become a Paralegal and plans to continue law school and become a family lawyer.  Growing up with in a large family with 5 siblings, Emily feels that college is her opportunity to make a better future for herself without having to struggle like her family did growing up.  We are very pleased to award Emily with a $1,000 scholarship and wish her the best in her studies.  Congratulations Emily!



 Scholarship Kimberly Van Meeteren   Lori Stafford



Kimberly is the wife of Jeffrey Van Meeteren of the Sheriff’s office.  She is currently enrolled at Lone Star Community College with plans to transfer to Texas A&M University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in nursing.  She plans to use her lifelong desire to help others and become a nurse in pediatric oncology.  Her volunteer work with children at LifeStyle Christian School along with many other attributes leads us to believe she is the right person for a $1,000 scholarship.  Congratulations Kimberly! 


Scholarship Natalie Sendukas   Lori Stafford

Natalie is the daughter of Laura Brownell with the Montgomery County Library System at the R.B. Tullis Branch.  Natalie is currently enrolled in the University of Texas at Austin pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry.  Natalie would like to continue the investigative route in research labs, preferably in the neuroscience lab or the pharmaceutical industry.  Natalie graduated from Kingwood Park High School ranked #7 in her class and took many AP and Dual Credit classes in high school that prepared her for the rigorous natural sciences program at UT.  We wish you the best Natalie and are honored to present you with a $500 scholarship.  Congratulations Natalie!


Scholarship Kaylie Branch   Lori Stafford

Kaylie is the daughter of Tom Branch with Special Activities in the Sheriff’s Office Jail Division.  Kaylie is currently attending college with Texas Woman’s University pursuing her Master’s degree in Kinesiology.  She wishes to become an Occupational Therapist and work with children on a specialized level.  Kaylie lost 2 very important people in her life at a very young age and with the help of a mentor was able to overcome and take what she learned to help other children in the same situation.  We are very pleased to award Kaylie with a $500 scholarship and wish her the best in her studies.  Congratulations Kaylie!


Scholarship Natalie Garza  Lori Stafford  and Dana Cook

 Natalie is the daughter of Dana Cook, Collections Manager with the Tax Office.  Natalie is going to be attending college with Texas A & M University pursuing her degree in Chemical Engineering.  Because of her love of math and science, Natalie took many AP classes to prepare for college and was 1st in her graduating class.  Natalie has been involved in many community activities including being a Science Fair Judge, being on the Montgomery County Historical Commission Youth Advisory Board and volunteering for Habitat for Humanity to just name a few.  We are very pleased to award Natalie with a $1,000 scholarship and wish her the best in her studies.  Congratulations Natalie!

MISSION STATEMENT:The Montgomery County Employees Committee exists to bring the dedicated employees that serve Montgomery County together as a team. As a team, we strive to provide fellowship and unity among the different departments and different areas of the county. The Committee encourages each County department to have a

representative sit on the Committee.
